Oct 21, 2024 #1 I am looking for a vintage guitar preamp from the early 80s - the Intersound IVP. Even though there are many old listings online, there is nothing available that I can find. WebHere’s my IVP. Turned out nice, I’m digging it. It’s got a clean channel and a “tube” channel. The clean channel is pretty clean, not much to speak of. The tube channel is nice, it can go from a light responsive overdrive to fully saturated and gnarly. I think both channels can really shine with the parametric EQ though.

It has a problem with the channel switching mechanism, so it's the tube channel only (which can be made to sound like the clean channel if using lower gain settings).
