Visitors gather at about 8 P.M. to 1 A.M and take strolls on the castle’s grounds in a guarded manner in the hope of spotting any of the castle ghosts or experiencing haunting encounters. The tickets for the hunt cost £40 per head. WebThe majority of the main building is currently a ruin so there is currently no public access. The Castle was built into a hill, subsequently the terrain is uneven with many steps, slopes and steep footpaths throughout the estate. Many of our footpaths are unsuitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs and slopes can be tiring for a person assisting.
