WebStudies of teratogenicity were conducted with clethodim in rats at doses of 0, 10, 100, 350 or 700 mg/kg bw per day and in rabbits at 0, 25, 100 or 300 mg/kg bw per day. In rats, the NOAEL for maternal toxicity was 100 mg/kg bw per day. Fetal toxicity was observed at the maternally toxic doses of 350 and 700 mg/kg bw per day.
